Upcoming June Events at the White Dog Cafe

Sustainable Wild Salmon Dinner with “Save our Wild Salmon”
Saturday, June 14, 6pm

Pacific wild salmon are a national treasure — a nutritious food and a
sustainable natural resource. They connect ocean and river, and provide a
source of endless inspiration. Join White Dog Cafe, Slow Food Philadelphia,
and Save our Wild Salmon as we raise awareness of the threat caused by
unsustainable harvesting practices and harmful damming procedures that are
rapidly depleting the population of wild salmon in rivers and basins
spanning seven western states where wild salmon were once abundant.

*****
$60/per person includes 4-course dinner featuring a line-caught wild
Alaskan salmon menu. Tax and gratuity not included. Please visit
www.whitedog.com in June for complete menu. For reservations please call
(215) 386-9224.

the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture will speak about
the organization’s work to improve the economic and social prosperity of
Pennsylvania food and agriculture. Ann Karlen, Director of the Fair Food
