World Cafe Live Announces "LiveConnections.org"
World Cafe Live is pleased to announce the formation of “LiveConnections.org,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding our community engagement programming efforts.
On Thursday, May 15th, LiveConnections.org will launch the first of three pilot programs, “Bridge Sessions,” bringing together public, parochial and charter schools from Center City and West Philadelphia with great musicians from the Philadelphia area. Bridge Sessions are designed as fun, experiential events that stimulate learning about music, about how cultures connect and about how we can cross boundaries and understand new points of view. Each Bridge Session will feature great music from a variety of traditions and engage artists and audiences in an exchange of sounds, ideas and perspectives.
We invite you to join us for any or all of these three Bridge Sessions to offer you a glimpse of this program in its formative stages.
