10th Annual "Celebrate Health Fair" -- Saturday, May 17

Come to the Fair and “Celebrate Health”


Drexel University’s Office of Government and Community Relations along with community leaders, PVCA, MCIC and 3rd District Councilwoman Jannie L. Blackwell are organizing the 10th Annual “Celebrate Health” Fair, to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the West Philadelphia Community Center located at 3512 Haverford Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. 

Drexel anticipates that over 40 tables of education and screenings will be provided, most of which will be staffed by Drexel health sciences faculty, staff and students, as well as a variety of children’s games and activities. 

In addition to the Drexel activities, local community, faith and civic organizations will be participating and will provide community members with information about their services.  The fair will be presented in a festive environment that includes music and line dancing, mascots and clowns, free food and t-shirts, and raffles for over 25 prizes.
