University City District Releases First-Ever Guide Highlighting Ethnic DiningPhiladelphia, PA -- University City District (UCD) released the first-ever “University City Ethnic Dining Guide”, celebrating the rich diversity of restaurants in University City. Most impressive is University City’s marvelous representation of ethnicities. When visiting, you are likely to experience dynamic dishes originating from Thailand, Laos, Ethiopia, Pakistan, France and Japan, among many other countries. A thriving nexus of international cuisine, University City is one of the most adventurous dining destinations in Philadelphia and here, you will find something for every taste and budget. The 20-page Dining Guide, which was made possible with a generous grant from the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC), features over 60 University City destinations from the well-know Zocalo, Dahlak and Vientiane Café to neighborhood spots like Lou’s Mexican Restaurant and Abyssinia Restaurant and Bar.

The University City Ethnic Dining Guide includes detailed information (including a fold-out map) on area restaurants’ hours, locations and offerings, as well as a description for each destination. The publication is sure to be a valuable resource for the seasoned restaurant-goers to those who haven’t yet traveled to the area.
